I have been so busy lately that the last thing I needed to do was to get involved with another social networking site. What was wrong with me! I found this new site that is unbelievable. It is unlike any other social networking site. That is probably what drew me to it. Also, there is more of an adult theme than Myspace so I feel more at home.
I love social networking sites. In fact, I would have to say that I am addicted to them. Forsakencherry.com has so many features that I can't seem to get off of it once I log in. I love to chat and spend most of my time on im or cell so it fits right in with my life style. I also like to web chat. I can actually see someone live and it doesn't cost that much for the upgraded feature.
This online social networking site also has free games and internet radio. I downloaded their tool bar and now I can listen to great tunes or listen to the BBC, That feature is free and is really great.
There is also a free internet radio station that plays on this social networking site live three days a week. Now, I will never get off the internet. What I like about it is that the owner Simion is also the DJ on the internet radio and he is really cool. I have never laughed so hard as I did last Friday night listening to him. He does some really wild things on his site and keeps it interesting and engaging.

We have to remember that online dating allows us to appeal to the masses. This can be very discouraging when we think we have met someone great to then find out that they are not what we thought. Alot of online daters are what I call "serial daters" and like to date many different people and not focus on just one at a time.

This is a topic that is going to raise some eyebrows and maybe more but as the creator of a Free internet dating site, I feel is important to consider at times.It is also something that I have utilized on several occasions and found necessary to protect myself. I am referring to a type of background check using Public Records.
When dating someone out of state or outside of a 60 mile or so radius, it is many times difficult to see alot of things that would be more evident if you saw that person on a regular basis. It is much easier to reinvent oneself and/or to be more deceptive. People often reinvent themselves or omit very serious details about themselves such as their marital status and criminal background.
One thing that you can do which is free and accessible to the general public is a search through the County Courthouse public records. It is not always available in every county but more and more counties are adding this feature to their website. Several of the things that you can view are their divorce records, arrest record, and judgements and liens. Be aware that people often have offenses in other counties as well.
I do not find this search intrusive since I don't feel that I have anything to hide. Be prepared to get opposition to this if you decide to be forthcoming to the person you are checking on.
A few of my own search results are as follows: One individual had 2 arrest, one for stalkng and one for tickets. He also had 2 restraining orders against him from women. Another person that I became involved with had told me he was divorced and I started having doubts. He was not divorced! Both of these people were professional, attractive, articulate and educated. Appearances have very little to do with integrity!
Again, as I always say, proceed with a little caution when meeting someone through an online dating site, but still stay open to the idea that you could be connecting with a really great person. Getting to know someone takes lots of time and patience!
